WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police arrested a teenager for a robbery that took place on Thursday.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that just before 4:20 p.m., the victim was walking near 18th and C streets NE when five people approached her.
One of those people “had his hand in his pocket as if he had a weapon” and demanded that the victim hand over her cell phone. She did, and the suspects all ran away.
