WASHINGTON (7News) — Morgan Kane is under serious consideration to be the next Chief of Police for the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), sources tell 7News.
Kane is serving as the Deputy Director of the Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Protection Services, Operations. She oversees law enforcement operations for 21 Smithsonian museums, the National Zoo and more, according to the Smithsonian website.
