DC man sentenced in armed carjacking after posting evidence on his Instagram

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man was sentenced to seven years in prison Friday for an armed carjacking where he posted evidence of the crime on his own Instagram, according to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

Terrell Edmondson, 19, pleaded guilty during the summer in connection to the carjacking that occurred on Oct. 4, 2024 in Washington, D.C. He was given 84 months, and five years of supervised release.
