Man injured in Southeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway in the District after a man was injured in a shooting overnight.

The Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the shooting just before 3 a.m. in the 3300 block of 18th Street SE. There, police reported finding a man with a gunshot wound.

Medics rushed the man, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
