WASHINGTON (7News) — Residents living in a “luxury” apartment building in Northwest D.C. are turning to 7News On Your Side for help after they say one of the main entrance doors has been broken for months. That door happens to be the only ADA-compliant one.
The property, Jefferson Marketplace, is located at 1550 7th St. NW in D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood. It is managed by the Jefferson Apartment Group.
“I don’t like how the door is because by me being a disabled veteran, I used to be able to walk in,” resident Cheryl Jordan said. “It doesn’t help me when I got packages or a roller to get up in there to push the button because the button don’t open.”…
