Metro extends hours, offers free rides for holidays

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Metro is spreading the holiday joy across the DMV and is adjusting its services for Christmas and New Year’s.

On Monday, the transit service announced that it will offer free bus and train rides from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. This comes as Metro supports safe and responsible travel across the DMV.

In addition to the free service, Metro will also adjust its hours for Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
