PHOTOS: Fire blazes through Southeast DC basement apartment

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — No injuries were reported after a fire in Southeast D.C. on Saturday, officials said.

In a post on the X platform just after 9:45 a.m., the DC Fire and EMS department said that crews responded to the 2400 block of Hartford St. SE for a fire in a basement apartment.

Photos from when firefighters first arrived showed heavy fire showing from the apartment’s windows.
