Montgomery County Police 4th District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, to a reported shooting in the 4500 block of Custis Drive in Rockville.
According to police, an adult male accidentally shot himself in the hand. No foul play is suspected, and the incident is being investigated as accidental.
