Shooting in Southeast DC leaves 1 man dead, another injured

WASHINGTON (7News) — A shooting in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday afternoon left one man dead and another injured, according to officials from the Metropolitan Police Department.

At approximately 1:05 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of 37th Street, Southeast.

Upon arrival, they found two men with gunshot wounds, police said. One man was conscious and breathing, while the other was unconscious and not breathing. Both were taken to a hospital by ambulance, where one was pronounced dead…
