Crews rescue man trapped under Theodore Roosevelt Bridge in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was seriously injured after he became trapped under the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge early Saturday morning.

In a post on X just before 7 a.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department said crews were working to rescue a man who was found under the bridge, in construction scaffolding.

Due to the man’s location, crews used rope to quickly rescue him, bringing him to the top of the bridge for evaluation.

Medics transported the man to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, officials noted…
