A regional crackdown shut down multiple illegal car rallies across Maryland, with state police making four arrests — including armed suspects from Virginia — during a late-night enforcement operation, officials said.

Multiple large-scale street takeovers were dismantled by the Maryland Car Rally Task Force and police agencies in Howard, Prince George’s, and Montgomery counties over the weekend, according to Maryland State Police.
