WALDORF, Md. — A Waldorf man was arrested after police linked him to an armed carjacking and recovered a loaded handgun following a foot pursuit in Charles County, according to court records.
Omar Bernard Johnson, 19, was taken into custody Dec. 27, 2025, after Charles County Sheriff’s deputies located a stolen vehicle connected to an armed carjacking reported earlier that day in Prince George’s County. Authorities said the vehicle, a Nissan Murano valued between $25,000 and $100,000, was tracked to the 4200 block of Drake Court in Waldorf.
Officers established surveillance after locating the vehicle parked and unoccupied. Johnson, who matched the suspect description provided by Prince George’s County police, was later observed in the area.
