False Name Stop: Passenger Charged After Traffic Encounter In Calvert County

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A New Carrollton man was arrested after authorities say he provided a false name and obstructed a police investigation during a traffic stop in Calvert County, according to court records.

Fernando Euzman, 42, was charged following a traffic stop conducted the morning of Dec. 29 in the area of Maryland Route 4 and German Chapel Road in Prince Frederick.

According to charging documents, a detective with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office stopped a white Chevrolet work van for expired Maryland registration tags.
