The Takoma Park Police Department announced on Wednesday night the arrest of a Washington DC man in connection with recent overnight burglary activity in the city.
According to Takoma Park Police Chief Antonio DeVaul, Kahyah Mandella Winslow, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous concealed weapon, possession of burglary tools, and warrant service.
The arrest occurred around 3:00am on January 5, while officers were conducting a proactive patrol near Cedar Avenue and Tulip Avenue. Police said the patrol was initiated in response to an increase in overnight burglaries in the area…
