WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in D.C. announced that an arrest has been made in connection with a murder investigation in Northeast.
Police said Friday that 45-year-old Niwatilagu Long was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Melvin Saunders.
The deadly shooting took place inside an apartment in the 11000 block of North Capitol Street.
