Montgomery County’s First Post-Prohibition Distillery Liquidating Assets

Twin Valley Distillers, Montgomery County’s first distillery since Prohibition, may have closed its Rockville location, but much of what powered the operation will soon be available to the public through an auction.

According to the auction listing, the contents of Twin Valley Distillers are being sold as part of a complete liquidation. The auction includes distillery, bottling, labeling, and tasting room equipment from the former operation at 1029 E. Gude Drive in Rockville.

“Twin Valley Distillers, Montgomery County’s first distillery since prohibition, is moving in another direction and will make a complete liquidation of quality distillery, bottling, labeling, and tasting room equipment,” the auction website states…
