WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — One person was left seriously injured Sunday afternoon after an SUV crashed into a wall in Northeast D.C., officials said.
In a post on the X platform shared shortly after noon, the DC Fire and EMS Department said crews responded to a single-vehicle crash at 34th Street and Benning Road NE after an SUV struck a retaining wall.
Officials said crews rescued one man who was trapped inside the vehicle, transporting him to the hospital with serious injuries.
