5 shot outside DC Metro bus; passengers question why the driver left the doors open after the shooting

WASHINGTON — As the search continues for the shooter who opened fire injuring five people outside of a Metro bus in Northwest DC, passengers who on board the bus are calling into question the bus driver’s actions following the shooting.

DC police say three adults and two juveniles were shot at around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday near the intersection of 16th Street and Missouri Avenue Northwest.

“We don’t believe everyone that was struck was involved in the shooting that occurred. There were people that were jus there that appeared to be unintended targets,” Interim Police Chief Jeffery Carroll told reporters during a news conference on Thursday…
