Bus passenger goes on X to question safety of Metro buses during mass shooting in DC

WASHINGTON (7News) — Bethany Allen was on the Metrobus when a fight escalated while a group of 15 riders got off at a bus stop, and someone opened fire.

Three adults and two children were shot.

“The rest of that group got off the bus, and I started hearing young women screaming and crying, and it was clear that some people had been shot. Now what happened next was nothing. The bus driver didn’t move. He didn’t close the doors. Didn’t move the bus at all,” says Allen…
