Angel Rich, a Washington, D.C.–based technology entrepreneur known for her work in financial literacy and fintech, has been sentenced in connection with a fatal 2023 crash in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
On January 20, a judge in Prince George’s County Circuit Court imposed a 10-year prison sentence after a jury convicted Rich of one felony count of negligent manslaughter by vehicle. All but three years of that sentence were suspended, meaning Rich will serve three years in custody, followed by supervised probation after her release.
