Victim Identified In Prince George’s Homicide; $25,000 Reward Offered

GLENARDEN, Md. – Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday morning in the city of Glenarden. The victim is 37-year-old Matthew Hinkle of Glenarden. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On January 25, 2026, at approximately 5:10 am, Glenarden Police Department officers responded to the 7900 block of Glenarden Parkway for reports of an unresponsive person. Once on scene, they located the victim outside suffering from trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death.
