Mother of Andrew Wolfe provides update on his progress after November D.C. attack

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Andrew Wolfe, one of two West Virginia National Guard members who were shot in Washington, D.C. in November, continues to recover from his injuries, his mother said on Saturday.

Wolfe has been making progress over the last six weeks in an in-patient rehab facility and is ready to begin a residential rehab for 8-12 weeks, according to a social media post from his mother, Melody Wolfe.

Melody said that her son is scheduled to have a cranioplasty in early March to reconstruct his skull, which will allow for even more independence and recovery…
