Second Suspect Charged in 2023 D.C. Nightclub Shooting That Left One Dead, Three Injured

An additional suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a nightclub homicide that shook the D.C. community back in 2023. The Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed this latest development in a case that has lingered in the public’s mind with unresolved threads for years. The incident, which unfolded in the late hours of a September night at a venue on H Street, Northeast, tragically culminated in the death of one individual and injuries to three others.

Responding to the chaos of that fateful evening on September 23, 2023, First District officers hastily arrived at the scene to discover four people shot, as per MPD’s report. Amidst the flashing lights of ambulances and the throng of emergency responders, an adult male, Blake Bozeman, succumbed to his injuries. Although the paramedics’ efforts were unremitting, Bozeman at 31 years of age was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
