Puppy Bowl XXII inspires fee-free pet adoptions in DC area

WASHINGTON (7News) — As Puppy Bowl returns Sunday, Feb. 8, the Brandywine Valley SPCA is teaming up with Best Friends Animal Society to help more pets find homes during a special adoption event.

From Feb. 3 through Feb. 8, BVSPCA is waiving adoption fees for adult dogs (1 year and older) and cats (6 months and older) at its District shelters and select pop-up adoption events.

BVSPCA will also be represented in Puppy Bowl XXII, cheering on alumni Lin, Shirley, Violent, and Sandy, who are split between Team Ruff and Team Fluff. The shelter is additionally lending adoptable kittens for the event’s popular halftime show…
