WASHINGTON (7News) — The District of Columbia plans to spend $33.6 million this fiscal year on developing the Commanders stadium campus, with a heightened focus on involvement from D.C.-based small businesses and Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs).
The District and the team have committed 40% of spending on the years-long project to contracts with local businesses. Fiscal Year 2026 is expected to have the least amount of spending for the Commanders stadium complex across the entirety of the project.
