This is what the Marion Barry Environmental Design Award–winning planters/barricades at New York Ave and N Street NW, has turned into now. It’s basically a full-on smorgasbord for the rats of DC.
Our ANC rep, neighbors, and we ourselves have submitted multiple 311 requests over the past year, but nothing has been done to clean up the absolutely disgusting mess this corner has become. This is probably the worst it’s ever been, but honestly, it’s never actually been cleaned.
It’s just wild that this is the welcome mat for…..
