Montgomery County police are investigating the death of an 87-year-old man at a senior living facility in Potomac as a homicide.
According to authorities, at approximately 7:34 am on Saturday, February 14, 2026, officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police 1st District and personnel from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility in the 10800 block of Potomac Tennis Lane for a medical emergency. Responders located an unresponsive adult male inside a residence and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
