Two Suspects Arrested for Armed Burglary in Southeast D.C., Residents Unharmed

Two individuals are now in police custody following a daytime burglary in Southeast D.C. that involved a firearm. The Metropolitan Police Department has disclosed details of the incident, which took place on the 3100 block of M Place, Southeast, on Monday.

Police officers received a call around 10:29 a.m. to report the burglary, where two suspects entered the premises forcefully. According to the police report, one of the culprits threatened a resident with a gun, while another resident was able to quickly call 911. MPD units were able to swiftly to arrive and arrest both suspects on scene. The department confirmed that no one was injured during the ordeal.

The suspects apprehended have been identified and charged. 39-year-old Odalis Cisneros, from Temple Hills, MD, faces several charges including Burglary One while Armed (Gun), False Impersonation of a Police Officer, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and two counts of Pistol License Violations.
