WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is banding together and mourning the loss of one of its officers.
The police department announced Thursday that Officer Tarig Abdalla, #4470, died from an illness. Abdalla was an officer with the Second District at the time of his passing.
