DC police makes arrest after argument led to shooting on Minnesota Avenue

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department announced that a man was arrested after an argument led to a shooting in Southeast last year.

The shooting took place around 10:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Minnesota Avenue, where two people began arguing. That’s when the suspect, Dandrea Reginald Grayton, allegedly grabbed a gun and shot the victim before leaving the area.

Nearly five months later, the 51-year-old was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.
