DC snowstorm forecast shows 3 possible scenarios

Washington DC residents might want to keep their snow shovels handy this weekend. A potentially significant coastal storm is taking aim at the Mid-Atlantic, bringing the possibility of several inches of snow starting Sunday and continuing into Monday morning.

The National Weather Service and AccuWeather are tracking what could develop into a nor’easter near the coast, with snow expected to begin falling across DC, Maryland and Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 22.
