A previously convicted felon who rammed his ATV into a DC police officer and dragged her across a gas station is heading back to prison, federal authorities announced.
Greenbelt resident Gerard Stokes, 31, has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for a March 2025 assault, according to US Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro, who said he will also serve three years of supervised release at the conclusion of the term.
Stokes was taken into custody for the felony assault of a police officer in regard to a March 25, 2025, attack near 14th and U Street NW during a rowdy gathering, the US Marshals Service said…
