WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway after a Southeast D.C. shooting left a man dead late Saturday night.
D.C. police said officers found the man, unconscious and not breathing, with a gunshot wound after responding to the 4400 block of 3rd Street SE for a shooting just minutes after 11 p.m.
Medics tried to save the man, identified as 40-year-old Travis Fears, but he died at the scene.
