Closet organizer allegedly stole over $25k worth of personal items from Bethesda home

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A Gaithersburg man hired to help organize a Bethesda home has been arrested after police say he stole property from the residence, and investigators are now concerned there may be additional victims.

Aissa Mahdi Ould Brahim, 27, of Gaithersburg, was arrested following an investigation into a reported theft from a home in the 5000 block of Del Ray Avenue in Bethesda.

Police said the investigation found that on Jan. 22, at about 3 p.m., Brahim was inside the home providing organizing services that included folding and putting away clothing. Police said the victim left the house shortly afterward to pick up her child, and when she returned, Brahim had left for the day…
