Rental Rampage: D.C. Man Charged After Slashed Tires, Seats And Drug Bust In Waldorf

WALDORF, Md. — A Washington, D.C., man is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after authorities allege he damaged a rental vehicle, resisted arrest and was found in possession of a distribution-level amount of cannabis in Waldorf.

Rufus Emanuel Addison, 55, of Washington, D.C., was charged Feb. 11, 2026, with possession with intent to distribute cannabis, resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property valued at $1,000 or more, according to court documents.
