Cat rescued from DC apartment fire, 13 people displaced

WASHINGTON — An apartment fire in Northeast D.C. displaced 13 residents, including six children, early Tuesday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., crews were called to a fire on the third floor of an apartment building in the 300 block of U St. Northeast.
