Members of ‘Fox 5 Gang’ sentenced for daylight shootings in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Four members of the “Get Back Gang” and/or “the Z,” were sentenced on Friday after shooting up multiple locations known to be hangout spots of rival gangs.

Derrico Johnson, 21, Ronald Henderson, 19, Daveon Robinson, 18, and Demarco Robinson, 22, committed three different day-time shootings in Southeast Washington, D.C. between April 2022 and January 2023, announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro. The four are part of a broader violent group known as “Fox 5 Gang.”

On April 12, 2022, Johnson shot and killed Clayton Marshal and injured another during a drive-by shooting at Shipley Market during the day; neither victim was believed to have been the intended target. The location was a known hang-out spot for the “Deuce Deuce” crew.

Around six weeks later, on May 26, 2022, Johnson, Henderson and a third unknown person walked to the Savannah Terrace Circle, associated with the “23rd and Savannah” crew, where they shot and killed 16-year-old Justin Johnson aka “23 Rackz.”…
