Another MS-13 gang member has been convicted in the deadly ambush that left one man dead and another crawling through a Maryland park pretending to be dead in order to survive.
Carlo Yaque del Cid, 32, of Hyattsville, was convicted in Montgomery County Circuit Court in Rockville in connection with the murder and conspiracy to kill 20-year-old Edvin Agustin Leon in Silver Spring, prosecutors announced on Monday.
The conviction stems from a gang-related shooting that happened on Nov. 9, 2022, near the 9000 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring, where Leon and another man were led into a wooded section of Northwest Stream Valley Park by MS-13 members…
