County firefighters free two men trapped in trench collapse in Bethesda

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews rescued two men from a trench collapse Tuesday afternoon outside of a home in the 8100 block of Kentbury Drive in Bethesda.

Three men were working in the trench when it collapsed around noon, according to MCFRS officials. One was able to escape while the two others were trapped, with one man buried up to his head and another up to his chest, according to the officials.
