ROCKVILLE, Md (7News) — The aftermath of Monday’s storm remains as families in Potomac and Rockville are out of their homes due to damage from fallen trees.
The first home hit by a fallen tree is at 4400 Pine Tree Road in the Sycamore Acres area of Rockville. One tree fell and covered the entire house, leaving a gaping hole in one corner of the residence. No one was injured. One dog and five cats were also able to escape unscathed.
Nearby in Potomac, a house on Rouen Lane was also struck by a fallen tree. There is significant damage to the roof, and the large trunk remains in the yard. No one was injured when the tree came down. One person and their two dogs were forced out of the home by the damage…
