UPDATE: Suspect In Triple Highway Shooting Arrested, Facing Multiple Attempted Murder Charges

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – At approximately 2:00pm yesterday, officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department conducted a high-risk traffic stop on the driver of a Dodge Challenger, matching the description of the suspect vehicle involved in the three reported shootings. The traffic stop occurred in the 2300 block of Oxon Run Drive in Temple Hills, Maryland.

Police identified the driver as Kendrick Lamont Savoy, 44, of Lothian, Maryland. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, Highway Gun Crimes and Criminal Enforcement Division responded to the scene and conducted an authorized search of the vehicle. Two handguns were located…
