1 person seriously hurt after fire in Landover Hills, dog evaluated

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One person was seriously hurt and a dog is being treated by EMS units after a house fire in Landover Hills on Monday morning.

Germantown Elementary School to reopen amid repairs to sewer main collapse

The Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department responded to the 7400 block of Allison Street in Landover Hills around 7:50 a.m. Crews arrived and found a one-story single-family home had fire emitting through the roof.

One occupant was removed and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Five firefighters were also taken for evaluation, but the severity of their condition is unknown.
