Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring has begun a full renovation of its emergency department, a major project aimed at improving patient care, safety and the overall experience for families seeking emergency treatment.
Holy Cross Health, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, announced today that the emergency department overhaul is now underway as part of a broader effort to modernize care and better serve the community’s growing needs. The renovation is expected to be completed in 2028.
When finished, the updated emergency department will include more efficient treatment areas designed to reduce wait times and improve patient flow, along with upgraded technology and equipment to support faster diagnosis and treatment.
