Maryland man uses stolen identity to purchase over $6K in luxury handbags: police

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Maryland native was arrested and charged Tuesday after police said he used a stolen identity to spend thousands of dollars on luxury handbags.

Alioune Mbaye, 19, from Silver Spring, was taken into custody by police while he was picking up packages at a home in Warwick Township.

According to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department, Mbaye spent $6,270 using the stolen identity and had packages delivered to a home in the 300 block of Meadow Valley Road…
