Bagel Street Cafe is Vienna’s newest eatery. The shop, located at 523 Maple Avenue W, is a family-owned business. Owners Jenny Liu and her husband Julio Santana say that the bagels are a reflection of their mixed cultural heritages: Jenny is Chinese-American and Julio is Dominican, and those flavors will be evident throughout the menu. About Bagel Cafe
Jenny Liu grew up in Fairfax, where she spent countless hours working in her family’s Chinese restaurants. After giving birth to her and Julio’s son, Logan, in October 2025, she knew she wanted something that would allow her more time to spend with him. “Restaurant hours are really long, you’re there till 10PM or 11PM,” she said. “We thought we would take our knowledge of the industry and move to breakfast and lunch service.”…
