2 seriously hurt after construction accident in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Two people were seriously hurt after a construction accident in Northwest D.C. on Saturday, according to the DC Fire and EMS Department.

In a post on Xaround 1:30 p.m., crews responded to reports of an accident at 16th and Aspen St. NW.

First responders arrived to find that an elevated lift had overturned with two people inside, throwing them from the machinery.
