Multiple students being treated for possible pepper spray at DC high school after report of fight

WASHINGTON — Ten students at Friendship Collegiate School are being treated for an irritant that is possibly pepper spray after a report of a fight Tuesday morning.

D.C. Police said all they can confirm is that officers were called to the Minnesota Avenue NE school for report of a fight at 9:19 a.m. Fire department spokesperson Vito Maggiolo told WUSA9 that they were dispatched soon after because multiple students were suffering from some sort of irritant, which he said was possibly pepper spray.

As of 9:50 a.m., D.C. Fire said approximately 10 students were being treated or evaluated…
