Major cocaine bust on Route 13 in Virginia

EXMORE, Va. (WAVY) — A New York man was arrested March 28, 2026, after officers seized approximately 5.4 kilograms of cocaine during a traffic stop on Route 13 in Belle Haven, Virginia, according to officials.

The arrest and seizure are the result of an ongoing narcotics investigations conducted by the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Impact Unit and the Homeland Security Investigations.

Members of the Criminal Impact Unit, in conjunction with the Homeland Security Investigations Norfolk Field Office, conducted a traffic stop. Police pulled over a 2011 Dodge Journey bearing Georgia registration.
