Deadly shooting in Southeast DC near Maryland border turns into a barricade situation

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man who was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Southeast, D.C., late Friday evening died from his injuries moments later, according to D.C. Police. Police later remained on scene for a barricade situation.

Officials said the man was found conscious and breathing after officers responded to the 3000 block of 30th Street, Southeast, at around 8:36 p.m.
