WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Drivers can upgrade their windshield wipers on Saturday during a free wiper blade and installation event for Metro Motor’s Wiper Week.
The event is taking place at the DMV Inspection Station on Sat. from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. on Half Street in Southwest D.C. until supplies last.
Metro Motor described the event, “Wiper Week is a collaborative initiative to increase safe driving in our nation’s capital and to raise awareness about the importance of visibility on the road – for drivers, passengers, bicyclists, and pedestrians alike.
